UArctic member Stefansson Arctic Institute is hosting the 2nd annual JUSTNORTH Conference that is taking place in Akureyri, the capital of Northern Iceland, on October 10-12, 2022.


Many UArctic Thematic Networks, individuals with UArctic affiliation and member institutions are organizing or involved in sessions at the Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavík on October 13-15. Here are some highlights from the program that relate to core UArctic activities.

The Arctic Anthropology Research Team (Arctic Centre) from UArctic member University of Lapland is organizing the Anthropology Conference, 21-23 March 2023 in Rovaniemi and has issued a call for panels and papers.

The UArctic summer school Plastic in the marine Arctic – from sources to solutions has successfully been conducted, giving students first-hand experience and enabling them to contribute to an improved understanding of the problem of plastic pollution.
