Maiju Malinen a student in Environmental and Resource Management at the University of Southern Denmark in Esbjerg accomplished her internship at  UArctic International Secretariat.

Students from across the UArctic network have taken part in the Model Arctic Council, held during the Arctic Science Summit Week 2016 in Fairbanks, Alaska. This activity is organized by the Model Arctic Council Thematic Network.

On March 15, Russian expedition will travel to the Kara Sea to test the new cross-country vehicle. The machine was designed to set a world record – to achieve the North Pole on wheeled vehicles in offline mode. Vehicular transarctic expedition is planned for 2018.
