Chen is the first Chinese student to study Polar Law, in the first class of the Polar Law program, after recently graduating from the first ever graduate studies program in human rights law in China. Indeed, doing something new is nothing new at all to Chen.

 The spring 2009 issue (#62) of the Polar Libraries Bulletin is now available. The Polar Libraries Bulletin is published at least twice yearly in the Fall and Spring.
