Students in this course will journey from the historical foundations that created the present day North to what the future of northern business and organizations could and should be.
The Yukon is comprised of First Nation, municipal, territorial and federal governments; each of these operates individually and are guided by differing values. This context is not unique to Yukon and is common to other jurisdictions. To be effective, leaders in northern organizations must work ethically and respectfully with an understanding of the relevant context.
