Freshwater Management
The course is targeted toward students interested in water-related environmental issues.
Field exercises will focus on water quality monitoring tools and group projects will use these tools to evaluate environmental impacts on local ecosystems. Lectures and individual projects will explore major environmental challenges, such as nutrient loading, effects of mining, and land development. These themes will be discussed in the context of current environmental legislation.
