UArctic- International Secretariat had the pleasure to welcome the Rector, Eyjólfur Guðmundsson and the Director of International Office, Rúnar Gunnarsson from the University of Akureyri, Iceland.
During the visit, the rector of University of Akureyri, Eyjólfur Guðmundsson is looking into different university consortium and partnership models, and was particularly interested in the Lapland University Consortium.
The meeting additionally, consisted of the current developments and membership engagements of UArctic. It was discussed, the current situations in the Arctic and the importance of the cooperation for future activities for both institutions.
