For the first time in history of Arctic State Agrotechnological University, the international summer school is held in an online format, students and participants from different countries have taken part: Russia, Uzbekistan, Brazil, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, Japan and the USA.

The latest issue of our annual magazine, Shared Voices, is now available online. In the 2020 issue we feature examples of climate action from our network: broader organizational efforts, personal and individual actions, and concrete examples from the grassroots level.

UArctic and Korea Maritime Institute (KMI) are pleased to announce an opportunity for 40 students from UArctic member institutions located in the 8 Arctic States to participate in the 6th Korea Arctic Academy online course together with 10 students from Korean universities.  

The UArctic Thematic Network Teacher Education for Social Justice and Diversity was founded in June 2015.

Two projects supporting activities of the UArctic Congress 2021, Agents for the New North and Nature in Transition - Shifting Identities, have been awarded funtding through the Nordic Council of Ministers' Arctic Co-Operation Programme.

The call is aimed at individuals who are committed to advancing gender equality within their communities, and who are nationals and residents of the Arctic (priority on those who identify as indigenous). Nominations are accepted until June 30, 2020.
