The University of Alaska Fairbanks seeks applications from enthusiasticpersons who are interested in summer ecological field research innorthern Alaska. This is a full-time, temporary position (June throughAugust 2011) that will be based at Toolik Field Station, Alaska.



The University Studies on Svalbard (UNIS) will offer a graduate course in Biotelemetry and Biologging in May 2011. The course is for MSc and PhD students, and will take place in Longyearbyen, Norway.

The final report of the EU Arctic Footprint and Policy Assessment (AFPA) Report is now available. The AFPA Project was a 12-month project funded by the DG Environment of the European Commission. The Arctic Centre was one of the contributing instituions.
