The International Association of Canadian Universities for Northern Studies (ACUNS) has recently made two major announcements regarding the 8th International ACUNS Student Conference, which will take place in Saskatoon from October 19 to 21, 2007.



IPY launches around the world

The International Polar Year (IPY) will take place from March 07 – March 09. Numerous countries involved in IPY are having opening ceremonies around the beginning of March.

The UArctic north2north mobility program has continued to grow in 2006, with a major leap in the number of students from all over the Circumpolar North who took advantage of the exchange opportunities.
