The University of Tromsø's department of biology is offering a new Advanced Emphasis on Circumpolar ecosystems, resource use and management during the Winter 2007 semester.

The Bachelor of Circumpolar Studies (BCS) online course enrolment figures show that online education is becoming a more popular choice for undergraduate students in the Circumpolar North.
