Diverse Arctic: Local Challenges — Global Changes
Northern (Arctic) Federal University invites international students to take part in the spring semester program "Diverse Arctic: Local Challenges — Global Changes". This interdisciplinary English-taught program is constituted of four compulsory courses which give insights into societies, politics, history and cultures of the Arctic with special focus on the Russian North.
The program includes 3 courses:
1) Crossing the Borders: Changes and Challenges of the Russian Politics In The Arctic (1990s-2000s) - 8 ECTS
2) Society, Diversity and Human Development in the High North - 5 ECTS
3) The Arctic as an Art object - 6 ECTS
The program is designed for international degree and exchange students. Upon completion of studies students receive a Transcript of Records. There is no fee to participate in this program for exchange students from partner institutions. Scholarships are available through Barents Plus and Erasmus Mundus.
