Arctic Floating University was established in 2012 to unite science and education on the territory of the Arctic region and its objectives are to preserve the Arctic environment and to ensure the sustainable development of the region. The project is supported by the grant of the Russian Geographical Society.
The project is established for undergraduate and postgraduate students and young researchers. Organization of the expeditions is carried out by means of co-financing by the institutions participating in the project. Participation fee per person is 330,000 RUR (covers accommodation, meals, transport expenditures and administrative costs. Please note: price does not include visa related costs.
The maximum amount of participants is 58 and all applications are due on the 15th of February, 2018.
