Molecular Systems Biology

The Master’s Degree Programme in Molecular Systems Biology offers strong theoretical and practical skills in modern molecular biology with a specific focus on systems biology.  Education is given in English, and the students of this international programme learn to work together with associates from different countries and backgrounds.

The MDP in Molecular Systems Biology provides the theoretical and practical skills required to actively participate in systems biology research related to molecular cell biology, molecular plant biology (including bioenergy), molecular immunology or molecular microbiology. MDP graduates will have expertise in current theories and state-of-the-art technologies in systems biology, including transcriptomics, proteomics and bioinformatics. The programme will be jointly arranged by the Department of Biochemistry at University of Turku and the Turku Centre for Biotechnology.
