Arctic Innovation and Entrepreneurship

This programme provides students with insight into aspects of the economic development work in a High North setting, especially in the Barents Region, as well as with practical experience in regional cross-border cooperation.


The Advanced Emphasis Program is consisting of three courses with focus on innovation and entrepreneurship including learning by developing projects. Grounded in theoretical frameworks, students will have to run case studies and manage a project. The programme provides students with insight into aspects of the economic development work in a High North setting, especially in the Barents Region, as well as with practical experience in regional cross-border cooperation.

 

This is a semester program of which the three courses are taught sequentially, each ending with a final exam. The total package of courses is only taught in the autumn semester, starting in late August and ending in November. (Enterprise Innovation Practice is taught as single unit also in the spring semester)
