Norwegian Language and Society

Would you like to learn the Norwegian language and gain insight into Norway's culture, political environment and history? Would you like to qualify to study a Norwegian-taught degree at Bachelor or Master level?

Norwegian Language and Society covers topics from the welfare state to Norway's literary traditions. Students develop both language skills as well as understanding of the cultural, political and historical contexts which have shaped modern Norwegian society and Norwegian language. Graduates who complete the programme with an average grade of B or higher qualify for entry into Norwegian-taught full-degree programmes.
