An examination of cultural diversity in relation to tourism to develop an awareness and respect of one's own and other cultures in order to provide culturally sensitive leisure services.

Characteristics, expectations, and barriers of diverse cultural groups are examined and skills such as inclusive planning, communications, and negotiations are developed.
