An investigation of the principles and processes involved in climatology, with emphasis on global distributions and change.

Topics include the global energy system, atmospheric dynamics, spatial distributions and variations of temperature and moisture, and climate change. Lab exercises apply methods for examining Earth's climate from global to local scales.
