Summer school program is open for international students interested in Russian Language and Culture. Background in Russian Studies and Russian Language is not a prerequisite.
The program offers a wide range of activities: lectures and seminars on Russian culture in Siberia, language classes, several field trips to the ethnographic open-air museums, extensive cultural program and unique opportunity to see the Lena Pillars – Nature Park in Siberia have recently been added to UNESCO's World Heritage List (optional trip). Significant difference of this year school is integration of regional component, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – lectures on Indigenous peoples of Yakutia, Political History of Yakutia, Geography of Yakutia and Sakha language and culture.
