Geo-Seminar in Energy and Environment

This research-oriented seminar includes in-depth discussions on selected contemporary topics in energy and environment, current technological developments and research directions, recent publications, etc.

The course aims at fostering and developing scientific curiosity around the course theme and a critical reflection of representativeness, accuracy, reliability and importance of the data and results. The course consists of overview presentations, seminar presentations on selected topics given by the students, and a discussion about the topic prepared and led by the students. Thereby, the students will acquire skills in using scientific literature, being able to read, understand and discuss research by others, and learn how to present scientific results both in written form and orally.
