Advanced Natural Resource Economics

This course will teach student among other things about dynamic optimisation and dynamic natural resource economics applied to some natural resources, as well as other tools of analysis.


By the end of this course students will be expected to know and understand:

  • •Dynamic optimisation;
  • •Dynamic natural resource economics applied to some natural resources, as well as other tools of analysis.

 

By the end of this course students will be expected to have gained the following skills:

  • The understanding of the dynamics of natural resource utilisation and management;
  • The ability to engage in contemporary debates on management and governance of marine renewable resources on the nature and role of theory and case study findings;
  • •The ability to see their own research in a wider perspective, and to critically reflect upon the basic assumptions and challenges of their research projects.
