Archaeology for Exchange Students

This course is intended for exchange students in Archaeology from non-Nordic countries, and is intended for advanced students in Archaeology.


Students should choose a topic from from the Department's special fields of competence, such as: Arctic archaeology, Saami archaeology, gender archaeology, heritage studies, ethnicity studies, theoretical archaeology and the archaeology of Northern Norway. The special fields open to study may change due to sabbaticals among the members of the staff. Acceptance to the course depends on our possibility of finding a staff member able to supervise you.
