This course presents a broad overview of the human and social history of the circumpolar North.
This course presents an overview of the social history of the circumpolar North with particular emphasis on Indigenous cultures, the consolidation of European domination in the North, human ecology, and contemporary social and political economy of the North.
Prerequisites: ENGL 100 and NOST 101
