Programmes include lectures and workshops, master classes and trainings, case championships, field trips, cultural and industrial tours. Classes will be taught by leading academics and high-class industry specialists in sponsored audiences of such companies as BP, Total, Schneider Electric, Orica, Siemens, etc. The programme includes visits to training grounds, practice using modern equipment, learning the basics of work with professional software, as well as visits to the leading enterprises of the city and the region.
During the cultural program, participants will visit the most famous places of the cultural capital of Russia – St. Isaac's Cathedral, Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, the Hermitage, the Nevsky Prospect, Peterhof and other.
Participants will be staying in comfortable dormitories of St. Petersburg Mining University, equipped with everything necessary (computer classes, canteens and cafeterias, gym, etc.).
UNESCO Competence Center opens the registration on the 1st of February, 2020. The same day will be started the grant competition. The grant partially covers tuition fees, costs of accommodation, food, transfers and cultural programmes. The cost of participation in the summer school for the grant competition winners will start from 300 €.
The new season of summer schools will be opened on the 1st of June, 2020. Undergraduate and postgraduate students, young scientists and delegations of universities and institutes, specialized companies staff are invited to participate.
