The iC3 Polar Research Hub has launched a 1:1 support program to help qualified candidates secure funding for a two- to three-year postdoctoral fellowship under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) scheme.

In 2024, this opportunity is available to researchers of all nationalities who are interested in:

  • Ice sheets in the polar regions during past periods of climatic change, and
  • Phytoplankton and the biogeochemical cycles of carbon and nutrients in the Southern Ocean.

iC3 also welcome inquiries from researchers working more broadly on the links between ice sheets, carbon cycles, and ocean ecosystems for the 2025 round of applications.

Applicants must hold a PhD degree by September 2024.

The support program includes 1:1 support throughout the process of developing a proposal, including provision of useful resources, reviews of successive proposal drafts, and pre-submission scoring.
