Since its founding, UNBC has been a world leader in northern research. UNBC faculty members and students have travelled across Canada and around the circumpolar north to participate in research projects that have advanced our collective understanding of northern regions and habitats and benefitted northern peoples and communities in meaningful and impactful ways. Earlier this year, UNBC’s Research Week highlighted some of the northern research projects and other initiatives that are currently taking place at UNBC.
This edition of the Northern Voice revisits these projects in order to show the depth and breadth of northern research at UNBC.
