Seminar on Human Rights and Security Environment: Arctic dimensions
In cooperation with the Arctic Center of the University of Lapland, the Northern Institute of Environmental and Minority Law (NIEM) and the UArctic Law Thematic Network, the Helsinki-based Human Rights Center will organize a seminar on October 26, 2022.
The seminar discusses several issues, including the following questions: What current human rights issues are faced in the Arctic region in the changed security environment? How are digital rights realized in the region? What about climate change? What kind of current human rights research is being done in the region?
These and other related current questions will be discussed in the webcast on Wednesday, October 26. from 13:00 to 16:30. The language of the event is mainly Finnish, partly English.
