Webinar: Circumpolar Observations of Thermokarst Pool Expansion in High Resolution Satellite Imagery
The Navigating the New Arctic (NNA)-funded Permafrost Discovery Gateway announces a new webinar series. The first webinar will feature Charles "Chuck" Abolt, Los Alamos National Lab. Chuck will discuss Circumpolar Observations of Thermokarst Pool Expansion in High Resolution Satellite. The webinar will take place 22 July 2021 at 9:00 a.m. AKDT.
The webinar aims to connect the international science community interested in big data remote sensing of permafrost landscapes and provide the Permafrost Discovery Gateway development team with end-user stories (by the presenter and webinar participants), such as what tools the community needs to create and explore big data.
