The conference was two-days event and the programme was built under two themes: Inclusive teacher education and Inclusive pedagogies. The first day included two keynote speeches, launching an eBook "Including the North: a Comparative Study of the Policies on Inclusion and Equity in the Circumpolar North" and a symposium with speeches and discussion. The second day consisted of keynote speeches, a presentation and workshops.
Tuija Turunen, dean and professor of teacher education at University of Lapland, Finland and lead of UArctic and UNITWIN teacher education networks held a keynote speech titled “Researcher-based teacher education towards inclusive schools – Case: Lapland”. Recording of her speech is available here.
Diane Hirshberg, professor of education policy from University of Alaska Anchorage, US gave a keynote speech "Inclusive education policy from a critical perspective”. Recording of her speech is available here.
