5 new AMAP assessments published

The Arctic Council's Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme (AMAP) has released five new assessments at the 2017 International Conference on Arctic Science: Bringing Knowledge to Action, which takes place April 25-27, 2017 in Reston, Virginia, USA.

The conclusions and recommendations of these assessments will be presented to the Arctic Council Ministerial Meeting coming up in Fairbanks, Alaska, USA 11 May, 2017.

The AMAP assessments are the result of cooperative efforts involving a large number of scientists, indigenous peoples' representatives, and representatives of the Arctic countries and AMAP observing countries and organizations. AMAP science reports are subject to rigorous peer-review.
