Institutions, organizations, universities and companies are eligible to submit proposals. Individuals may not submit proposals without institutional affiliation / support.
Proposals must indicate the session topic's relevance to Arctic dialogue, clarifying the session's contribution to increased knowledge, discussion or awareness of Arctic issues.
At least half of proposed speakers must be confirmed by the time of submission.
Diversity among speaker backgrounds, affiliations and nationality is encouraged.

Proposals must include the following:
- Organizing body
- Contact person
- Description of the session
- List of speakers and speaker topics
- Any special requirements
Organizers of accepted breakout sessions will later be asked to provide a 150-word summary of the session description and a black/white photo and short bio for each speaker.
