The Environment programme aim to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and other pollutants to avoid the most severe effects of climate change, and support public education, unbiased research and analysis and permissible policy-related activities. Proposals may address the following areas:

clean power – increase renewable energy and energy efficiency while reducing fossil fuel development and use for electricity generation;

clean transportation – increase fuel efficiency and access to transit, biking and walking options, while constraining the growth of high-carbon fossil fuels for transportation, mainly in China, Mexico, Brazil and the US;

building broad support – engage diverse members of the public.

Applications are open to organisations whose work involves reducing dependence on coal and other high-carbon fuels or focuses on policy development and advocacy. Individuals, for-profit organisations and unincorporated associations or groups are not eligible.

There is no deadline for this call.
