Symposium on knowledge-based management vs. management application of the precautionary principle in the polar regions
The Norwegian Scientific Academy for Polar Research (NVP), in cooperation with Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences (NTVA) and University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS), is hosting a symposium in Longyearbyen, Svalbard 26–28 August 2013. Via lectures, panel debates and open discussions, the symposium will address knowledge based management versus management application of the precautionary principle in the polar regions.
