XXXII SCAR Open Science Conference - First Circular

for the XXXII SCAR (Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research) Open
Science Conference in Portland (Oregon), 13-25 July 2012.
The XXXII SCAR biennial meetings and Open Science Conference "Antarctic Science and Policy Advice in a Changing World" will emphasize the Committee’s dual role in facilitating scientific research and providing advice to policy makers.
Please note that the conference will also include a bipolar session to discuss connections with the Arctic. With a renewed Letter of Agreement, IASC and SCAR have recently reconfirmed and underlined the importance of the synergy between both organizations in polar and bipolar research
