The Circumpolar Young Leaders Program (CYLP) is now accepting applications for six-month internships. The CYLP program is designed for Canadian youth, originally from, or living in, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, or northern Quebec and Labrador. The program provides northern youth with training and work experience in leading organizations in arctic countries and organizations working on arctic issues.

Circumpolar Young Leaders have the opportunity to:
- Live and work in another arctic country,
- Gain leadership skills,
- Develop valuable relationships with researchers and other young Canadians, and
- Contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable and equitable future of the North.

To be considered for these positions, applicants must be a northern Canadian citizen or landed immigrant not younger than 19 and not older than 30. Applicants must be computer and internet literate, have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, be able to live and work in multicultural environments, and have demonstrated interest and experience in circumpolar affairs and issues.

Applicants should fill out the online application form and submit it with a cover letter, resume, writing sample, a copy of college transcripts (if applicable), and two letters of reference. Application
