The numbers show an increase in the number of students involved with the north2north program. For 2005, there were 101 incoming and 101 outcoming students, compares to 85 incoming and 85 outcoming students in 2004.

“We are happy to see a continued growth with the north2north program,” says Mona Johnson, International north2north Program Manager. “These statistics show there is an interest and need for programs, such as north2north, in the circumpolar north.”

Johnson says the numbers will continue to rise in 2006. The coordination office is currently working on finalizing application numbers for 2006-2007.
