The University of Colorado (CU) is a public research university with multiple campuses serving Colorado, the United States, and the world through leadership in high-quality education and professional training, public service, advancing research and knowledge, and state-of-the-art health care. Each of the fours campuses has a distinct role and mission as provided by Colorado law.
The mission of CU is to be a premier, accessible and transformative public university that provides a quality and affordable education with outstanding teaching, learning, research, service, and health care. Through collaboration, innovation, technology and entrepreneurship, CU will expand student success, diversity and the economic foundation of the State of Colorado.
The CU Consortium for Climate Change and Health is a multi-discipline collaboration across four campuses to examine the impact of climate change on health.
Starting September 2017, we are proud to offer a new Introduction to Polar Medicine course in collaboration with the University of the Arctic. We will hold two sessions; one in Stockholm, Sweden, and one in the Colorado Rocky Mountains (1 hour outside of Denver).
