Yugra State University is located in Khanty-Mansiysk – in the heart of Western Siberia. The region of Yugra is famous for its natural wealth (about 60% of Russian oil is produced here) and unique cultural traditions of the Khanty and Mansi – indigenous peoples living here.  Annually Khanty-Mansiysk hosts many international events, such as the World biathlon cup, international chess championships, the international debut film festival “Spirit of Fire” and others.
