UArctic encourages the development and delivery of joint Master's programs among its members. Programs endorsed by UArctic Graduate Studies are northern-relevant, giving students who are interested in northern issues the expert knowledge they'll need to explore potential opportunities and help address the challenges the region faces. With an assured academic quality and credit recognition mechanism, these joint master’s programs include joint thesis supervision, mobility and/or scholarship options, and courses with perspectives from different knowledge systems.
